Seuss fans young and old, from all over they came -
To hear the songs, and see the show, that’s garnered much acclaim.
From “Yertle the Turtle” to “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”
14 books of the Doc were packed into this show!

Carousel presented Seussical before to sold-out crowds,
No wonder they brought it back; the audience was wowed.
Alison Green’s set design was delightfully quirky and cool,
Stepping into the theatre we’re transported to the Jungle of Nool.

Taylor Lintott excelled as young Jojo, who finds his parents oppressive,
Barbara Clayden’s costume design was imaginatively impressive.
Josue Laboucane’s portrayal of Horton the Elephant did enthrall -
With his message that A Person’s a Person, No Matter How Small.

The Cat in the Hat was a mischievous emcee -
Darren Burkett was as funny, as funny can be!
I’d recommend this show for ages 3 to 92,
And for anyone who wants to be an Honourary Who!

Oh the thinks that we thunk, and the Whos that we heard!
Rebecca Talbot dazzled as Mayzie la Bird.
Kaylee Harwood was flawless as Gertrude McFuzz, although…
The Wickersham monkeys stole the show.

I loved the show, I had a ball.
I loved the show, I loved it all!
If Carousel’s Opening Night was any indication,
Seussical’s month-long run will meet with much acclamation!

Congratulations (Carousel), Today is your day -
You’re off to great places, you’re off and away!

- Dr Seuss
